Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between curiosity and students' problem-solving abilities in the subject of science in grade 6 elementary school students. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method with a measuring instrument using a correlation mode. The population and sample in this study were 30 respondents. The sampling technique used saturated sampling, namely the entire population was used as a research sample. The data analysis technique used in this study used a correlation test using the IBM SPSS 32 application. The objects of this study were grade 6 elementary school students of SDN Kadungrembug, with a total of 30 respondents. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between curiosity and students' critical thinking abilities. The greater the curiosity of students, the better the students' critical thinking abilities.
