Abstract

Sustainability campaigns have become a fixture on corporate social media feeds, and Le Minerale's circular economy movement under the #JadiBaruLagi banner is one example. Yet a crowded feed does not automatically translate into a lasting impression, and that gap is what this study set out to test empirically. The aim was straightforward, to measure whether the digital publication of Le Minerale's Circular Economy Campaign actually shapes corporate image among students of SMAN 59 East Jakarta aged 15 to 18. A quantitative survey approach was used, drawing 261 respondents through the Slovin formula from a population of 750 students, with proportionate stratified random sampling by grade level. Data were gathered through a 1 to 5 Likert scale questionnaire and processed using validity, reliability, classical assumption, and simple linear regression tests in SPSS. The results turned out rather surprising against the study's initial expectation. Descriptively, all twenty items across both variables received positive responses, with not a single respondent choosing disagree or strongly disagree. Once tested through regression, however, the t value reached only 0.866 with a significance of 0.387, well above the 0.05 threshold, so H0 was accepted and H1 rejected. The R Square obtained was merely 0.003, meaning Digital Publication barely explained any variation in Corporate Image at all. The reliability test likewise showed a Cronbach's Alpha far below acceptable standards, even turning negative for the Digital Publication variable. These findings suggest that a positive surface impression in descriptive data does not automatically indicate a statistically robust causal relationship, pointing instead toward an overly narrow data variance as the likely cause, rather than a failure of the conceptual framework itself.
