Abstract

This study aims to examine the development of research on the digital literacy skills of elementary school students in Indonesia through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach for the period 2021–2025. This study analyzes the grade levels most frequently studied, the research methods used, the level of students' digital literacy skills, strategies for optimizing digital literacy, and the benefits of digital literacy for elementary school students. The data collection process was carried out through a search for articles on Google Scholar using the Publish or Perish application. The selection process followed the PRISMA procedure, which included identification, screening, eligibility, and included studies. The selection results obtained 10 research articles that met the inclusion criteria. The analysis results show that digital literacy research was mostly conducted on fifth-grade students, with various research methods such as qualitative, quantitative, mixed, research and development, and community service. The study findings also indicate that students' digital literacy skills still vary and require strengthening through technology integration, the use of digital media, digital literacy training, and project-based learning. Digital literacy provides various benefits for students, including improving access to information, critical thinking skills, learning motivation, and the ability to utilize technology more productively in learning.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implications of violating children's privacy in using social media on mental health in elementary schools. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with research subjects selected through purposive sampling from elementary school students who actively use social media. Data was collected through observations and in-depth interviews with parents, teachers and students to understand their experiences regarding social media use and its impact on mental health. Data analysis was carried out by identifying the main patterns and themes that emerged from the results of observations and interviews. The conclusions of this study indicate that privacy violations on social media have a significant negative impact on children's mental health, including anxiety, depression, and decreased self-confidence. Cooperation between parents, teachers and authorities is necessary to protect children's privacy and their mental health.
