Abstract

Purun crafts are one of the leading creative economy products based on local resources in South Kalimantan, with great potential to improve community welfare. However, their development still faces various challenges, especially limited market access, low use of digital technology, limited access to funding sources, and suboptimal partnership networks that support business sustainability. This community service activity aims to increase the capacity of purun artisans through strengthening digital marketing, financial literacy, and the development of marketing networks as well as funding access. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR) with stages of problem identification, program planning, training and mentoring implementation, monitoring, and participatory evaluation. The service results show an increase in the artisans' ability to use digital media for promotion and marketing, better understanding of business financial management, and the establishment of partnership networks with the government, financial institutions, and other business actors. In addition, this activity encourages the formation of joint marketing groups, the emergence of local leaders, and higher awareness among artisans about the importance of product innovation and sustainable business development. The participatory approach applied has proven effective in strengthening the group's institutional capacity, boosting business competitiveness, and fostering social transformation towards the economic independence of purun artisans.
