Abstract

Background: Fruit and vegetable consumption behaviour among adolescents is very low, especially among adolescents aged 10-14 years. Teenagers tend to consume fast food such as sausages, hamburgers, and meatballs. One of the factors that influences this is the low level of knowledge about fruit and vegetable consumption. To improve adolescents' knowledge and behaviour in accordance with their characteristics, digital application-based games are used.  Objective: To develop an educational model that improves vegetable and fruit consumption knowledge, attitude, and behaviour among adolescents. Methods: This research uses a mixed-method study design with the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) approach to create and test applications. The field test was conducted at SMPN 2 Muaro Jambi with 40 respondents selected using proportional random sampling who met the criteria. Comprehensive data collection through observation, interviews, questionnaires, Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ) instruments, and Focus Group Discussion, one-on-one testing, small group testing, and experimentation in field trials. Results: An educational model based on a combination of Precede, SOR, and . Conventions: Abbreviations are usually defined at the first use in the abstract.
