Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of dividend policy, leverage, and firm size on stock price volatility of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Stock price volatility reflects investment risk and market uncertainty, making it an important indicator for investors in making investment decisions. This research employed a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from the annual financial statements of SOEs during the observation period. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine the influence of dividend policy, leverage, and firm size on stock price volatility. The results indicate that dividend policy has a negative and significant effect on stock price volatility, while leverage and firm size do not significantly affect stock price volatility. Simultaneously, the three independent variables are unable to significantly explain the variation in stock price volatility. These findings suggest that other internal and external factors may play a more dominant role in influencing stock price movements. The study provides practical implications for investors, company management, and policymakers in understanding the determinants of stock price volatility in the Indonesian capital market.
