Abstract

This article provides an artistic and psychological analysis of the emotional-spiritual transformations, issues of duty and conscience, professional responsibility, and the sense of regret experienced by a journalist within a harsh socio-political system, as depicted in Qulman Ochil’s novel “Gate of Danger” (Xatar darvozasi). Through the main protagonist, Chori Khalil, the inner world of a dedicated writer, his struggle against injustice in society, and his psychological transformation are revealed.
