Abstract

Inclusive economic development is increasingly recognized as an important condition for ensuring sustainable employment, increasing household incomes, and reducing poverty. This study examines the relationship between inclusive economic transformation and improvements in the socio-economic well-being of the population, with particular attention to Uzbekistan. The purpose of the study is to identify the main mechanisms through which inclusive economic policies affect employment opportunities, household incomes, and poverty reduction. The research combines comparative, statistical, analytical, and systematic approaches. The analysis demonstrates that the reduction of poverty is closely associated with employment expansion, wage growth, entrepreneurship development, and improved access to productive economic resources. In Uzbekistan, the national poverty rate decreased from 17.0% in 2021 to 8.9% in 2024 and further to 5.8% in 2025, indicating substantial progress in poverty reduction [1; 2]. At the same time, the study identifies persistent challenges related to informal employment, regional disparities, gender gaps, unequal access to finance, and differences in human capital. The scientific novelty of the research lies in considering employment, household income, and poverty as interconnected components of an inclusive economic mechanism. The study proposes measures aimed at strengthening productive employment, supporting vulnerable groups, developing entrepreneurship, improving human capital, and ensuring more equitable access to economic opportunities.
