This study is motivated by the limited number of studies integrating hadith with modern astronomical concepts through cinematic media. Interstellar (2014) presents several astronomical phenomena, including time dilation, wormholes, and black holes, providing an interesting context for analysis from the perspective of hadith. This study aims to identify hadiths related to astronomical phenomena, analyze their classical interpretations, and examine the relevance and limitations of the astronomical concepts portrayed in Interstellar from the perspective of hadith. This research employs a qualitative library research approach using the thematic (maudhu'i) hadith method. Hadiths were identified through Miftah Kunuz as-Sunnah, while the primary data were limited to narrations contained in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. The data were analyzed using Fath al-Bari by Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani and Sharh Sahih Muslim by Imam al-Nawawi. The findings identify three groups of hadith related to astronomical phenomena: the hadith concerning the abnormal passage of time during the appearance of the Dajjal, the hadith describing the Prophet's Isra' and Mi'raj journey on the Buraq, and the hadith concerning Sidrat al-Muntaha. The analysis indicates that the concepts of time dilation, wormholes, and black holes depicted in Interstellar correspond to the hadith only at the level of functional analogy as visual illustrations rather than ontological equivalence. The events described in the hadith represent divine and unseen realities, whereas the scientific concepts presented in the film constitute fictional representations based on modern physics.
