Abstract

Access to business financing remains a major challenge for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia despite the rapid growth of fintech lending services. This study examines the effects of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, e-trust, and attitude on MSMEs’ intention to use fintech lending in West Java using an extended Technology Acceptance Model. A quantitative survey was conducted with 188 MSME owners and managers, and the data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings show that attitude is the strongest determinant of intention to use fintech lending. Perceived usefulness significantly influences both attitude and intention to use, while perceived ease of use significantly affects perceived usefulness but does not directly affect attitude. E-trust significantly influences perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and attitude, but does not directly influence intention to use.
