Abstract

Social media has become one of the most effective tools for promoting MSME products. MSME operators in Bendung Village, Semin, Gunungkidul have not yet made optimal use of social media. This is due to a lack of knowledge regarding how to create engaging content. This community service activity aims to improve the ability of MSME operators to develop social media content for promotional purposes. The activity was carried out through outreach sessions, training, and hands-on practice. The material covered included an introduction to social media as a marketing tool, techniques for taking product photos and videos, writing engaging captions, and how to upload content effectively. The results of the activity showed that participants gained a better understanding of the importance of digital marketing and were able to create more engaging social media content. Participants became more confident in promoting their products through various social media platforms. This initiative can help SME operators expand their marketing reach, enhance their competitiveness, and ultimately support increased product sales.
