<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the role of the church in eradicating social inequality by using Romans 15:22-27 as the theological basis. Using the qualitative exposition method, this text shows how Paul encouraged the churches in Macedonia and Achaia to help the poor congregation in Jerusalem through fundraising, which reflects the principles of solidarity, the unity of the body of Christ, and social responsibility across communities. This study highlights the importance of integration between theology and social practices of the church and the need for an interdisciplinary approach between theology, sociology, and economics to strengthen the role of the church in facing the challenges of globalization in a relevant and transformative manner. The results of the study show that today's church can emulate the pattern of solidarity in Romans 15:22–27 by strengthening the role of social diaconia through fundraising, economic empowerment of the congregation, and advocacy for marginalized groups.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran gereja dalam mengentaskan ketimpangan sosial dengan menjadikan Roma 15:22-27 sebagai dasar teologis. Dengan menggunakan metode ekposisi pendekatan kualitatif Teks ini menunjukkan bagaimana Paulus mendorong gereja-gereja di Makedonia dan Akhaya untuk membantu jemaat miskin di Yerusalem melalui penggalangan dana, yang mencerminkan prinsip solidaritas, kesatuan tubuh Kristus, dan tanggung jawab sosial lintas komunitas. Kajian ini menyoroti pentingnya integrasi antara teologi dan praktik sosial gereja serta perlunya pendekatan interdisipliner antara teologi, sosiologi, dan ekonomi guna memperkuat peran gereja dalam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi secara relevan dan transformatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gereja masa kini dapat meneladani pola solidaritas dalam Roma 15:22–27 dengan memperkuat peran diakonia sosial melalui penggalangan dana, pemberdayaan ekonomi jemaat, dan advokasi terhadap kelompok marginal.]]>
