<![CDATA[ABSTRACT Student learning motivation is one of the important issues in the learning process because it plays a role in encouraging engagement, persistence, and the achievement of learning objectives. A safe, comfortable, and respectful learning environment is needed to support such motivation. One relevant approach is the Love-Based Curriculum, which emphasizes affection, empathy, appreciation, care, and harmonious relationships between teachers and students. This study aimed to determine the effect of the Love-Based Curriculum on the learning motivation of eighth-grade students in Social Studies at MTs. AR Rasyidi NW Penimbung, West Lombok Regency. The study employed a quantitative approach with an ex post facto design. The population consisted of 191 students, with a sample of 82 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality and linearity tests, simple linear regression, the t-test, and the coefficient of determination. The results showed a positive and significant effect, with a regression coefficient of 0.484, t = 5.104, and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The R² value of 0.246 indicated a 24.6% contribution to the variation in learning motivation. These findings confirm the importance of a humanistic approach in supporting students’ learning motivation. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the Love-Based Curriculum has a positive and significant effect on the learning motivation of eighth-grade students in Social Studies at MTs. AR Rasyidi NW Penimbung, West Lombok Regency. ABSTRAK Motivasi belajar siswa merupakan salah satu persoalan penting dalam pembelajaran karena berperan dalam mendorong keterlibatan, ketekunan, dan pencapaian tujuan belajar. Lingkungan pembelajaran yang aman, nyaman, dan menghargai peserta didik diperlukan untuk mendukung motivasi tersebut. Salah satu pendekatan yang relevan adalah Kurikulum Berbasis Cinta yang menekankan kasih sayang, empati, penghargaan, kepedulian, dan hubungan harmonis antara guru dan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kurikulum Berbasis Cinta terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII pada mata pelajaran IPS di MTs. AR Rasyidi NW Penimbung Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain ex post facto. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 191 siswa, dengan sampel 82 siswa yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket skala Likert dan dianalisis melalui statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas, linearitas, regresi linier sederhana, uji t, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh positif dan signifikan, dengan koefisien regresi 0,484, thitung 5,104, dan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Nilai R² sebesar 0,246 menunjukkan kontribusi 24,6% terhadap variasi motivasi belajar. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan humanis dalam mendukung motivasi belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Kurikulum Berbasis Cinta berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII pada mata pelajaran IPS di MTs.
