Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence job readiness in the fashion industry in terms of internal and external factors. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire/questionnaire and documentation. The instrument trial was conducted on 30 students outside the sample but still in the same population. The data were tested for validity using the Product Moment correlation formula, with the result that 4 items were declared invalid, and for reliability using the Cronbach's Alpha formula, with the result that the obtained Alpha value = 0,944. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results showed that the factors affecting job readiness in the fashion industry were in the high category, with a relative frequency of 48.15%. Internal factors and external factors that affect work readiness in the fashion industry are in the high category, with internal factors having a relative frequency of 48,19%, while external factors have a relative frequency of 40,74%.It can be concluded that internal factors most influence job readiness in the fashion industry.
