Abstract

The successful achievement of production targets at CV. Romen Sport Sidoarjo, a plastic manufacturing plant, is determined by the level of employee performance. This study examines the influence of the work environment and work-life balance, both individually and collectively, on performance. Forty factory employees were selected as respondents using the saturated sampling method within a quantitative research framework. Data collection involved field observations, interviews, and Likert-scale questionnaires. Multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS software served as the tool for hypothesis testing. The findings indicate that the work environment independently drives a significant increase in employee performance, with a regression coefficient of 0.672 and a significance level of 0.000. Work-life balance also demonstrates a positive and significant partial effect, with a coefficient of 0.777 and a significance level of 0.000. The synergy between these two aspects was found to have a significant simultaneous impact on employee performance (F-statistic = 19.327). Together, these two independent variables account for 51.1% of the variation in performance, while the remaining portion is influenced by factors outside the scope of this study.
