Abstract

The objectives of this study were to determine: (1) the steps for developinga jobsheet for making a tote bag with a corsage embellishment; (2) thefeasibility of the jobsheet as a learning medium; and (3) student responsesregarding the use of the jobsheet. This study employed a Research andDevelopment (R&D) approach. Data were collected via questionnaires andanalyzed using percentages. The results showed that: (1) the jobsheet wasdeveloped following seven stages of Sugiyono’s development model; (2) thejobsheet was deemed feasible for use as a learning medium, falling into the"very good" category; and (3) regarding student interest, 82.2% of thehearing-impaired students strongly agreed and 17.8% agreed with the use of the material; thus, it was concluded that using the jobsheet for making atote bag with a corsage embellishment could enhance learning interest inthe fashion skills subject among hearing-impaired students at SMALBNegeri 1 Bantul, Yogyakarta.
