Abstract

General Background In today's advancing industrialization and globalized economy, corporate entities face intense competition and must prioritize human resource quality and employee performance to survive and grow. Specific Background This quantitative study evaluates the effects of innovative work behavior, motivation, and work discipline on employee performance among 86 personnel at PT. Trans Retail Indonesia (Transmart Sidoarjo). Knowledge Gap Prior literature exhibits research gaps and inconsistent evidence regarding the specific positive or negative influences of innovative work behavior, motivation, and work discipline on employee performance. Aims This study aims to determine the effect of innovative work behavior, motivation, and work discipline on the performance of employees at PT. Trans Retail Indonesia (Transmart Sidoarjo). Results Utilizing multiple linear regression analysis, the findings demonstrate that innovative work behavior, motivation, and work discipline each independently and simultaneously exert a significant positive effect on employee performance. Novelty This work establishes the concurrent empirical measurement of innovation behavior, motivational needs, and strict disciplinary standards within a major retail operational environment in Sidoarjo. Implications These findings establish that fostering creative ideas, providing proper incentives and encouragement, and strictly enforcing workplace rules are vital managerial strategies for resolving performance declines and achieving organizational targets.
