Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of digital financial literacy on students’ learning interest in Economics subjects at SMAN 5 Cirebon. This research uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The sample consisted of 50 eleventh-grade students selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics version 25 through validity tests, reliability tests, descriptive statistics, simple linear regression analysis, t-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results showed that digital financial literacy had a positive and significant effect on students’ learning interest, with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05 and a regression coefficient of 0.460. The R² value of 0.209 indicates that digital financial literacy contributes 20.9% to students’ learning interest. Therefore, improving digital financial literacy can be one of the factors that support the enhancement of students’ learning interest in Economics subjects.
