<![CDATA[The habit of ordering food via online delivery services after the COVID-19 has become popular because of its practicality and efficiency. However, it also brings negative effects, especially on children's health, growth and development processes. Children are more often fed with instant food without knowing the manufacturing and selection process of the food. This can be avoided by involving children in cooking activities. Before starting to cook, it would be good if children can learn about food ingredients and cooking utensils as a means of training themselves not to be a food picker, as well as initial preparation before starting to cook. From the explanation above, a design is needed to convey knowledge of food ingredients and basic cooking equipment to girls as the target audience. The aim of this design was to create a pop-up book on knowledge of food ingredients and basic cooking equipment, especially for girls. The data analysis method used was 5W+1H. The design process was obtained by processing data originating from literature studies and surveys. The result of this design is a pop-up children's book that will be published, containing an introduction and tips on preparing food ingredients and cooking utensils, with an introductory approach through the characters of a child and her mother.
