<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the development of the HAGSALA pop-up book media (Forest, Desert, Savanna, and Ocean) to improve students' critical thinking skills in Grade V Science and Social Studies (IPAS) learning at SD Negeri 2 Padokan. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using a Quasi-Experimental design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of 25 students in Class 4C as the control group and 25 students in Class 4A as the experimental group. Data were collected through interviews, tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The data were analyzed using a t-test. The results indicated that the development of the HAGSALA pop-up book media (Forest, Desert, Savanna, and Ocean) had a positive effect on students' critical thinking skills in the ecosystem topic for Grade V students at SD Negeri 2 Padokan. This was evidenced by the difference in outcomes between the experimental and control groups. The hypothesis testing results showed that the experimental group achieved a mean pretest score of 69.84 and a mean posttest score of 87.36, while the control group obtained a mean pretest score of 51.00 and a mean posttest score of 71.76. Data analysis using the Independent Samples T-Test yielded a significance value of 0.003 < 0.05, indicating that the HAGSALA pop-up book media (Forest, Desert, Savanna, and Ocean) significantly improved students' critical thinking skills.
