Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the traditional Hadang game on improving the agility of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Tembong. The study used a quantitative method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 20 students selected through total sampling. Agility was measured using the 4 × 10 meter Shuttle Run test before and after the treatment. The results showed that the mean pretest time was 14.4745 seconds and decreased to 13.0495 seconds in the posttest. The paired sample t-test showed a t-value of 15.814 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, the traditional Hadang game had a significant effect on improving the agility of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Tembong.
