Abstract

This study examines how digital literacy and digital skills impact competitiveness in the labor market, with internship experience serving as a mediating variable among FTH interns in 2025. With a total of 35 respondents, a quantitative approach was employed. PLS-SEM (Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling) was used to analyze the data. The results indicate that digital literacy has a positive and significant impact on both work readinesss and internship experiences. Conversely, digital skills do not significantly influence work readiness, but they have a positive and significant impact on internship experiences. Meanwhile, internship Experience has a positif and significant influence on work readiness. The data do not support a mediating role for internship experiences in linking digital literacy and digital skills to work readiness. These findings suggest that, rather than relying solely on technical skills to meet industry demands in the digital age, cognitive abilities such as digital literacy and internship experience are crucial. To strengthen the research model, future studies should involve a more diverse sample and include additional mediating variables
