<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the forms of politeness in language implemented by the students of the Dewan Penegak SMK NU 1 Karanggeneng during the organizational training process. Scouting activities at the penegak level are often identified with strict instructions and strict discipline enforcement. However, as an educational institution under the auspices of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), SMK NU 1 Karanggeneng integrates the values of akhlakul karimah in every student activity. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with a pragmatic approach. The data in this study are the politeness in language implemented by Dewan Penegak students during a training process at SMK NU 1 Karanggeneng. The data in question are forms of politeness in language. The data source in this study is the communication of Dewan Penegak students in language during routine training. Data collection in this study was carried out using observation techniques, listening techniques, note-taking techniques, and documentation. The data analysis technique in the research, namely reviewing the data corpus sheet, analyzing the principles of language politeness and language politeness strategies in the communication of the students of the SMK NU 1 Karanggeneng Enforcement Council based on Leech's Theory, and concluding the research results. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the six politeness maxims have been applied by the students of the SMK NU 1 Karanggeneng Enforcement Council during the training process. The six maxims include the maxim of tact, the maxim of generosity, the maxim of praise, the maxim of humility, the maxim of agreement, and the maxim of sympathy. The most dominant forms of politeness that appear are the modesty maxim, which function to create and increase self-confidence in members and strengthen solidarity between members of the SMK NU 1 Karanggeneng]]>
