Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the impact of teacher workload distribution on school quality management. The study employed a qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection methods, conducted at SD Negeri Ciptomulyo 3 in Malang. The results of the study indicate that an unbalanced workload distribution causes teachers to teach two classes simultaneously or to teach classes outside their areas of expertise. Excessive workload can lead to physical and emotional exhaustion, as well as a decline in teaching quality. It is important for school administrators to prioritize task distribution based on each teacher’s expertise and their ability to manage the workload as a means to maintain and improve the school’s quality standards.
