Abstract

Digital literacy is an essential competency required by teachers and students in the digital transformation era. This community service program aimed to develop digital literacy capacity within school communities in Central Lampung Regency through structured training integrating technical skills, digital security, and media ethics. The implementation method used a competency-based training approach through workshops, simulations, peer learning, and five months of mentoring involving 300 teachers and 500 students from 20 primary and secondary schools. Results showed an 82% improvement in digital literacy competency, a 71% reduction in unsafe internet behavior, and a 68% increase in technology-based learning productivity, while post-program evaluation indicated that 88% of participants could identify digital threats and 75% actively applied digital ethics in teaching and learning activities. Overall, the program successfully created a safe, ethical, and productive digital learning ecosystem within school settings, delivering tangible impact on the quality of technology-based education in Central Lampung Regency.
