Abstract

As technology develops more and more sophisticated, various kinds of social media can be found used by internet network users. Instagram social media, which is chosen as a medium for the promotion of a place and tourist attraction, states that Instagram is able to spread information quickly and about many goals. Based on initial observations, although the official account of D'' Tombi Highland Resort regularly uploads promotional content, the level of tourist visits still fluctuates, especially in the low season. This shows the need to evaluate and optimize the promotional content strategy that has been carried out. The type of research used in this study is quantitative descriptive research conducted by collecting, classifying, and analyzing the data obtained. From the results of the data analysis used to find out whether there is an influence on the promotion of Instagram videos (X) and the decision to visit tourists (Y). The results of this research stated that there was a significant influence of Instagram video promotion on tourist visit decisions. The results of statistical data processing show that the decision to visit tourists is significantly influenced by Instagram video promotion. Based on the t-test, the t-value data was 6,000 and the t-value of the table was 1,671.
