<![CDATA[Workload is a phenomenon that arises from the number of job tasks or work completed by staff systematically using time constraints. Lecturers have the main task of carrying out the Tridharma of Higher Education which includes teaching and education, carrying out research and community service and other supporting tasks. When compiling teaching materials, literacy interests are needed such as reading, interpreting, and analyzing information is part of literacy as a social behavior. The purpose of this study is to determine the workload and literacy interest of Widya Nusantara University lecturers. This was a quantitative study that applied descriptive analytic methodology with a cross-sectional design. The study focused on using a single questionnaire that aimed to see if there was an association between the two variables. The target population included 40 individuals who were active and practicing the Tri Dharma of higher education. Through the total sampling technique, 40 respondents were selected as the research sample. Univariate results obtained heavy workload as many as 22 (55,0%), high literacy interest as many as 39 (97.5%). Bivariate analysis of the two variables with the chi-square test obtained a p value of 0.263 < alpha (0.05). This study concluded that there was no relationship between workload and literacy interest in Widya Nusantara University lecturers. Statistical analysis revealed a significant difference between workload measurement and literacy interest (p-value < 0.263). This result indicates that workload has no relationship with literacy interest among Widya Nusantara University lecturers.]]>
