Abstract

Transportation is used to be able to move both human and material resources needed in the production process of a company. Therefore, it is very important to ensure that all transportation processes are carried out in safe conditions from all potential hazards that can cause work accidents and occupational diseases. PT Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper is a large paper company and has extensive corporate roads, so the company carries out road safety with the implementation of patrols as an effort to monitor driving safety The purpose of this study is to find out in depth the implementation of access road patrols of PT. RAPP. The type of qualitative research with observation and interview methods was conducted from June to August 2025. The research population of all safety officer employees in the Futong Road area of PT. RAPP in August 2025. Data is obtained from secondary data and primary data. Meanwhile, the purposive sampling sample of this study was selected as many as 5 people. The results of this study were obtained that there were 3 stages of the implementation of futong access road patrols implemented by PT. RAPP is in accordance with the theory and SOPs of the company and has run very well. Even so, there are still obstacles that cannot be controlled and are unpredictable, such as in the planning stage, namely sudden changes in schedule, at the implementation stage such as unfavorable weather conditions and too wide range. And at the reporting stage, it seems that the daily evaluation has not been carried out.
