Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of congregational Dhuha prayer habituation and analyze its role in strengthening students' religious and disciplinary character at MTs Al-Kholiliyah Sukabumi. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design and field research method. The research subjects consisted of students, teachers, and school administrators involved in the implementation of the congregational Dhuha prayer program. The results of the study indicate that the habituation of congregational Dhuha prayer at MTs Al-Kholiliyah Sukabumi is carried out regularly and systematically as part of the school's religious culture. The implementation of this activity involves all members of the school community, with teachers serving as mentors and role models for students. The habituation of congregational Dhuha prayer contributes to strengthening students' religious character, as reflected in their increased awareness of worship, habitual practice of prayer, and attitudes that embody Islamic values in daily life. Furthermore, this activity also plays a significant role in strengthening disciplinary character, as evidenced by improved punctuality, compliance with school regulations, and students' responsibility in participating in school activities. Therefore, the habituation of congregational Dhuha prayer can serve as an effective strategy for supporting the development of students' religious and disciplinary character within the Islamic school environment.
