This study was motivated by the importance of agility as one of the main physical components in badminton. Agility is influenced by various factors, including nutrient intake, especially carbohydrates, and athletes’ training habits. This study aimed to determine the relationship between complex and simple carbohydrate consumption and training habits with the agility of badminton athletes at PB Anugerah Denpasar. This study used an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 35 athletes aged 8–16 years selected using purposive random sampling technique. Agility data were obtained through the 4×10 meter shuttle run test, carbohydrate consumption data were collected using the Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire (SQ-FFQ) method, and training habits data were obtained through questionnaires on training frequency and duration. Data analysis was conducted using the Spearman Rank correlation test. The results showed that most athletes had good agility levels. Total carbohydrate consumption was mostly categorized as good; however, complex carbohydrate intake was predominantly low (48.6%), while simple carbohydrate intake was mostly sufficient (51.4%). The correlation test results showed no relationship between complex carbohydrate consumption and agility (p=0.334>0.05), and no relationship between simple carbohydrate consumption and agility (p=0.277>0.05). In contrast, there was a significant relationship between training habits and athletes’ agility (p=0.000<0.05; r=-0.610). It can be concluded that training habits are the factor most associated with the agility of badminton athletes, while carbohydrate type consumption did not show a significant relationship with agility.
