Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation, interpersonal communication, and conflict management on teacher performance at SMP Negeri 2 Salatiga. The study employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design to examine the causal relationships between the research variables. The respondents consisted of 54 teachers selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected via a four-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that work motivation has a positive influence on teacher performance, although its partial effect is not significant at the 5% significance level. Interpersonal communication was found to have a positive and significant influence on teacher performance, highlighting the crucial role of social interaction quality in the work environment for enhancing performance effectiveness. The conflict management variable also showed a positive influence on teacher performance but did not demonstrate statistical significance at the partial level. However, when analyzed simultaneously, work motivation, interpersonal communication, and conflict management significantly influenced teacher performance. The coefficient of determination (0.104) indicates that 10.4% of the variation in teacher performance can be explained by these three variables, while the remaining 89.6% is influenced by factors outside the research model.
