Abstract

The development of Islamic banking is influenced by macroeconomic factors, such as the BI Rate and the exchange rate of the Rupiah, which can impact profit-sharing income. This study aims to analyze the influence of the BI Rate and exchange rate on profit-sharing income at PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk. The research uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis based on time series data. The research results show that the coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.308 indicates that both variables can explain 30.8% of the variation in profit-sharing income, while the remaining 69.2% is influenced by other variables outside the study. Partially, the BI Rate has a negative and significant effect on profit-sharing income with a significance value of 0.007 (< 0.05), while the exchange rate has a positive but not significant effect with a significance value of 0.111 (> 0.05). Simultaneously, the BI Rate and the exchange rate have a significant effect with an F-test significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05).
