Abstract

This study analyzes waste generation and the economic potential of waste produced by small- and medium-scale automotive repair workshops in Soloraya. This study used a quantitative and qualitative descriptive approach, drawing on 10 workshops selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive statistics to determine waste generation and economic value. The Kata Kunci: timbulan limbah; bengkel mobil; ekonomi sirkular results identified five major waste types, namely used oil, used oil filters, used oil bottles, used brake pads, and scrap metal. Used oil was the dominant waste stream, accounting for 2,633 liters per month, or 48.3% of total waste generated. The estimated economic value of workshop waste reached IDR 9,502,300 per month, with used oil contributing the largest share. This study provides baseline data on waste generation and economic potential in automotive repair workshops in Soloraya. The findings indicate that waste utilization can support circular economy practices while improving sustainable waste management and resource efficiency in the automotive service sector.
