<![CDATA[Learning science on the topic of the Human Respiratory System is still a challenge for some students because the respiratory process cannot be observed directly. This condition can make it difficult for students to understand the function of organs and the process of respiration, so that learning outcomes have not achieved the expected results. Therefore, a learning method is needed that can help students understand the material through more real experiences. One method that can be used is the demonstration method because students can observe the learning process directly. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the demonstration method on the learning outcomes of science on the topic of the Human Respiratory System in class V.B SD Negeri 18 Lubuk Linggau. This study used a pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 18 Lubuk Linggau during the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. The research was carried out from May 1 to May 26, 2026. The research sample consisted of 26 students selected using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by calculating the average, normality test, and t-test. The results showed that the average post-test score was 80.50, with 23 students (88.46%) achieving completeness. The t-test results obtained a t-count of 5.19 and a t-table of 1.708 at a significance level of 5%. Since t count ˃ t table, Ha is accepted. These results indicate that the difference in learning outcomes before and after the application of the demonstration method is statistically significant. Thus, it can be concluded that the demonstration method provides significant results on the learning outcomes of science in class V.B students of SD Negeri 18 Lubuk Linggau. ABSTRAK Pembelajaran IPAS pada materi Sistem Pernapasan Manusia masih menjadi tantangan bagi sebagian siswa karena proses pernapasan tidak dapat diamati secara langsung. Kondisi tersebut dapat membuat siswa kesulitan memahami fungsi organ dan proses terjadinya pernapasan, sehingga hasil belajar belum mencapai hasil yang diharapkan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan metode pembelajaran yang dapat membantu siswa memahami materi melalui pengalaman yang lebih nyata. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan adalah metode demonstrasi karena siswa dapat mengamati proses pembelajaran secara langsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode demonstrasi terhadap hasil belajar IPAS materi Sistem Pernapasan Manusia pada siswa kelas V.B SD Negeri 18 Lubuk Linggau. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimental dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 18 Lubuk Linggau pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Penelitian berlangsung dari 1 Mei sampai 26 Mei 2026. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 26 siswa yang menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menghitung rata-rata, uji normalitas, dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata post-test sebesar 80,50 dengan 23 siswa (88,46%) mencapai ketuntasan. Hasil uji t diperoleh t hitung 5,19 dan t tabel 1,708 pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Karena thitung > ttabel, maka Ha diterima. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah penerapan metode demonstrasi signifikan secara statistik. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode demonstrasi memberikan hasil signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPAS pada siswa kelas V.B SD Negeri 18 Lubuk Linggau.]]>
