Abstract

This research is based on the fact that there are still many schools that have not used instructional media, especially in learning fantasy stories so that students are not enthusiastic and less interested in writing fantasy stories. Researchers offer audio-visual media to overcome these problems. This research approach is research (PTK). As many as 30 grade VII students of Al-Fatih Integrated Middle School became research participants. The research consisted of two cycles, namely the research cycle I and cycle II. There are four parts to each cycle: planning, executing, observing, and reflecting. The method of data analysis is descriptive qualitative. Based on research findings, class VII Al-Fatih Integrated Middle School can make fantasy stories more effectively using audio-visual media. This can be seen from the results of the first cycle the average value of students is 67.00, and the second cycle the average value of students reaches 75.27. This shows that there was an increase of 8.27 from cycle I to cycle II.
