<![CDATA[This study analyzes the implementation of the Journalistic Code of Ethics in news production at the KompasTV Bengkulu editorial newsroom. The study is grounded in the importance of journalistic ethics in maintaining the quality, credibility, and public trust of local television media. A descriptive qualitative approach was applied, using interviews, observation, and documentation as data collection techniques. The informants consisted of the bureau chief and producer, journalist, presenter, and editor who were directly involved in the news production process. Data were analyzed through reduction, display, and conclusion drawing, while source triangulation was used to strengthen validity. The findings show that KompasTV Bengkulu implements journalistic ethics across all stages of news production, from coverage planning, information verification, script writing, visual and audio editing, to news delivery to the public. The implementation is reflected in the principles of independence, accuracy, balance, professionalism, protection of sensitive sources, separation between editorial and business interests, and readiness to provide correction and right of reply. From the perspective of social responsibility theory, the practice appears through voluntary commitment, stakeholder engagement, sustainability, and business ethics. The study confirms that the Journalistic Code of Ethics serves as both a moral and operational guideline for the newsroom in producing accurate, balanced, ethical, and trustworthy news.]]>
