KATA KUNCI: fasilitas klinis, lingkungan belajar klinis, mahasiswa profesi, produktivitas kerja, tugas akademikThe association of academic tasks, clinical learning environment, and clinical facilities with the work productivity of dental professional students in teaching dental hospital: Study Cross-sectionalABSTRACTIntroduction: The work productivity of dental professional students supports the quality of services provided by teaching dental hospitals, yet it varies considerably among students. Suboptimal work productivity among dental professional students can hinder the achievement of clinical competence, lower the quality of care, and prolong the training period, making the factors that influence it important to investigate. This study aimed to analyze the associations of academic tasks, the clinical learning environment, and clinical facilities with work productivity among dental professional students at a teaching dental hospital. Methods: A quantitative cross-sectional analytical correlational study was conducted on 120 of 171 professional students selected by simple random sampling (Slovin formula, e = 5%). Data were collected using a closed-ended five-point Likert-scale questionnaire that was valid (r = 0.467-0.940; r table = 0.441) and reliable (Cronbach’s alpha = 0.885-0.911), and were analysed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and multiple linear regression. Results: All three variables were positively and significantly associated with work productivity: academic tasks (B = 0.319; SE = 0.089; β = 0.275; t = 3.596; p < 0.001; 95% CI 0.143-0.495), clinical learning environment (B = 0.282; SE = 0.096; β = 0.292; t = 2.945; p = 0.004; 95% CI 0.092-0.472), and clinical facilities (B = 0.276; SE = 0.100; β = 0.262; t = 2.767; p = 0.007; 95% CI 0.078-0.474). The overall model was significant (F(3,116) = 32.411; p < 0.001) with R = 0.675, R² = 0.456, and adjusted R² = 0.442. Conclusions: Academic tasks, the clinical learning environment, and clinical facilities were positively associated with work productivity and jointly explained 45.6% of its variance.
