Abstract

This community service (PkM) activity aims to enhance the capacity of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through community-based mentoring in the areas of business legality, product standardization, and digital marketing. The activity was held on July 14, 2025, in RPTRA Payung Tunas Teratai, Cipayung, East Jakarta, involving 25 MSME operators. The method used was a participatory approach through outreach, training, and interactive discussions. The material covered business legalization (Business Identification Number and Micro and Small Business Licenses), packaging and labeling standards, as well as social media-based marketing strategies and marketing mix. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants’ understanding of the importance of business legality, product packaging quality, and the use of digital media in marketing. Additionally, this activity also encouraged the formation of networks among SME operators as a foundation for community-based innovation development. From a public financial accounting perspective, this activity contributes to strengthening awareness of accountability and transparency in business management, although the achievements are still at the output level and have not yet fully reached measurable outcomes. Therefore, continuous mentoring and the strengthening of a performance-based evaluation system are needed to improve the program’s effectiveness and sustainability.
