Abstract

It is important for the public to understand information regarding inflation and the Consumer Price Index (CPI), as these directly relate to changes in the prices of goods and services and the economic conditions experienced in daily life. However, the presentation of information in the Official Statistical Release (BRS)—which includes figures, tables, and technical descriptions—can pose a challenge for some data users. This community service activity aims to optimize the communication of inflation and CPI information by creating infographics based on BRS data at BPS Jember Regency. The activity employed a qualitative descriptive method rooted in internship experience, transforming key BRS information into concise, informative, and communicative visualizations. The results demonstrate that inflation and CPI information can be presented in a simpler visual format that highlights key data, making it easier to comprehend. The use of infographics serves as an effective and communicative medium for disseminating statistical information to the public.
