Abstract

The rapid development of the digital economy requires Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to adapt, particularly in adopting digital payment systems. This community service activity aims to analyze the readiness, perceptions, and technical constraints of MSME actors regarding the implementation of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) as an effort to enhance local business competitiveness in Resmi Tingal Village. The methodology employed a mixed approach combining descriptive quantitative methods through questionnaire surveys ($N = 18$ respondents) and qualitative approaches via field observations and door-to-door mentoring. The results indicate a high level of digital awareness and acceptance, where 100% of respondents were familiar with QRIS, 88.9% expressed interest in adopting it, and 94.4% perceived QRIS as a tool that simplifies transaction methods. However, the study also identified a operational gap, with 44.4% of respondents encountering technical constraints during implementation. Furthermore, field observations revealed non-technological internal challenges, such as production consistency and motivation among specific craft MSMEs. These findings demonstrate that introducing technology alone is insufficient; optimal digital transformation requires continuous, hands-on technical mentoring. Ultimately, QRIS serves as a strategic entry point to foster digital readiness and competitiveness for rural MSMEs, provided that initial adoption is supported by tailored educational approaches and sustainable mentoring strategies.
