Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Student Consultation Information System (SiKoma) application in improving the efficiency of consultation room management at the Indonesian Flying Academy Banyuwangi. The research uses an experimental method with stages of problem identification, literature study, dataset determination, database design, application development, and system testing using the Black Box Testing method. The implementation of the application produces user authentication features, a dashboard, consultation scheduling, consultation room management, automatic notifications, consultation result documentation, and report recapitulation. The test results show that all main features function according to user needs, are able to prevent schedule conflicts (double booking), display room availability in real-time, accelerate the scheduling process, increase the utilization of consultation rooms, facilitate the documentation of consultation results, and automatically generate room usage reports. The implementation of SiKoma supports the digitalization of academic services, making the management of consultation rooms more effective, efficient, transparent, and accountable, and providing ease for leaders in monitoring and making data-based decisions.
