Abstract

The background of this study is the importance of introducing the pillars of faith to early childhood, especially those aged 5-6 years, as the foundation for shaping their character and faith. Young children have unique learning characteristics, namely that they learn more effectively through play and interaction. Therefore, interactive learning media are needed to increase children's interest in learning about the pillars of faith. The objectives of this study are 1) to determine the development of activity books in introducing the pillars of faith to children aged 5-6 years, 2) to determine the feasibility of activity books in introducing the pillars of faith to children aged 5-6 years. The subjects of this study were 15 children in group B at Al-Barkah Parungpanjang Kindergarten. The research method used in this study was the research and development (RnD) method, which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the research and development of activity books for introducing the pillars of faith to children aged 5-6 years can be concluded that the development of this media has produced a product in the form of activity books for introducing the pillars of faith to children aged 5-6 years and has been developed in stages using the ADDIE model with a media expert validation score of 87.5%. With this score, it is known that.
