General Background Character education represents a fundamental pillar of national education designed to cultivate moral integrity and spiritual devotion among learners. Specific Background Secondary Islamic institutions structure daily pedagogical practices to instill Islamic values, respectful manners, and disciplined habits within school environments. Knowledge Gap Although educators guide academic instruction, empirical documentation regarding multifaceted instructional strategies combining religious curriculum delivery, behavioral reinforcement, and personal exemplarity remains underexplored. Aims This study examines teacher practices, behavioral outcomes, and contributing factors in shaping student personality at MTs Sunan Kalijaga Krucil Probolinggo. Results Findings reveal that educators function as essential role models and mentors by integrating Islamic instruction with digital tools, daily prayer habituation, and balanced reward and punishment systems. Consequently, students demonstrate strengthened religious conviction, regular observance of mandatory and voluntary worship such as sunnah fasting, and polite interpersonal etiquette. Furthermore, character development outcomes are shaped by educator dedication, family support, and community norms. Novelty This work establishes a structured character formation dynamic integrating consistent educator behavioral modeling with balanced behavioral consequences across theological, ritual, and ethical dimensions. Implications These insights provide practical guidance for secondary schools to design holistic character development frameworks through unified educator exemplarity and family-school collaboration.
