<![CDATA[Ministry of Home Affairs Regulation No. 52 of 2020 concerning the Boundary of Pontianak City and Kubu Raya Regency still leaves unresolved issues. The purpose of this study is to further analyze the issue of government collaboration in regional boundary management. The research approach used is qualitative. Data collection was conducted through interviews, documentation, observation, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). Qualitative analysis was used to analyze the data. The results of the study show that there is direct and indirect synergy and coordination at three levels of government. The West Kalimantan Provincial Government, through inter-agency coordination and optimal strengthening of the capacity of regional officials, has created a conducive atmosphere for the resolution of territorial boundaries, which can reduce social and political tensions in the region. The city of Pontianak plays a role in open communication and constructive diplomacy. This mediating role helps prevent the escalation of conflict and ensures that the decisions taken are acceptable to all interested parties. The Kubu Raya Regency Government acts as an effective communication bridge between residents and the city government, channeling the aspirations, complaints, and needs of the community to be taken into consideration in the public service process and border negotiations. With a participatory and community-based approach, the roles of these three parties have not optimally solved the problem. Solving the problems faced requires the involvement of a fourth party, namely the Central Government, as the highest catalyst in problem solving. The findings of this study are that the territorial problems that occur require complete synergy and coordination for those involved, both directly and indirectly.]]>
