Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease characterized by hyperglycemia and glucose intolerance caused by the pancreas' inability to produce insulin accurately or the body's inability to effectively use the insulin it produces. According to the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), the global incidence of diabetes reached 424.9 million in 2017, and this number is predicted to reach 628.6 million by 2045. This study aims to determine the relationship between physical activity and diet and the incidence of diabetes in the elderly. This study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The sample was determined using purposive sampling, resulting in 57 samples. The data collection tool used was a questionnaire, which was then analyzed using the chi-square test. The statistical test results showed a significant relationship between physical activity and the incidence of diabetes in the elderly in Kampung Baru Village with a p-value of 0.009 (p-value <0.05). And there is a significant relationship between diet and the incidence of diabetes in the elderly in Kampung Baru village with a p-value = 0.011 (p-value = 0.05).

Abstract

A document is a written or printed document that can serve as evidence or information, such as a birth certificate, marriage certificate, or other document. Data recorded at the Batu Brak Community Health Center (UPTD) in West Lampung Regency, from January to April 2024, recorded 39 (0.19%) incidents of misfiling medical record documents out of a total of 2,016 medical record documents. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between healthcare worker performance and the incidence of misfiling medical record documents. The results showed that the highest percentage of healthcare workers' performance was poor (36, 59%), while 21 (41.0%) performed well. 37 (60.7%) did not misfiled medical record documents. However, for those who did misfiled, there was a relationship between healthcare worker performance and the incidence of misfiling medical record documents (p value = 0.026). It is recommended that the community health center further improve and maintain the performance of health workers, especially in carrying out their duties as medical records officers, so that they can properly maintain and store medical record documents.
