<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of Social Science Class IV-A UPT SD Negeri Ronggomulyo I Tuban. In the learning process, it can be seen that the learning outcomes of students in learning science are still low. This research aims to describe the improvement of learning outcomes of Social Science Class IVA UPT SD Negeri Ronggomulyo I Tuban through the application of the Problem Based Learning model. This type of research is Class Action Research (PTK) model Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The research was carried out in two cycles with the design of this research covering four stages, namely: (1) planning, (2) implementation of actions, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The subject of the research was 28 students of class IV-A UPT SD Negeri Ronggomulyo I Tuban. The data collection instruments used were interview sheets, observation sheets, tests, and documentation. The data were analyzed in a qualitative descriptive and quantitative description. The results showed an increase in the learning outcomes of Social Science Class IV-A after the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model. In cycle I, the average score of students reached 74.82 with classical completeness of 71.42%. In cycle II, the average score increased to 88 with classical completeness of 92.85%. Based on these results, it was concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning model was effective in improving the learning outcomes of Social Science Class IV-A UPT SD Negeri Ronggomulyo I Tuban.]]>
