<![CDATA[Indonesia, as a tropical country rich in natural resources, holds great potential for utilizing local materials, including coconut wood. This wood possesses unique characteristics with its hard and sharp fibers, yet its application in the industry remains limited. This study aims to design a storage and display rack for Cap Tikus, a traditional beverage from North Sulawesi. The rack combines elements of tradition and modernity, inspired by Waruga, a traditional burial artifact of the Minahasa culture. The ATUMICS method was employed as a design approach to integrate elements of tradition, technique, functionality, material, iconography, and cultural concepts. The design explores joint techniques without using nails, screws, or bolts to address the structural challenges posed by coconut wood. The result is a rack that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional, reflecting the values of local culture. The resulting product offers a practical solution for organizing and serving Cap Tikus neatly while serving as an educational medium to promote the richness of Minahasa culture. The use of high-quality coconut wood also supports sustainability by utilizing material from non-productive coconut trees. This research contributes to the preservation of local culture, the sustainable use of materials, and the development of design innovations rooted in tradition. The rack is expected to serve as a model for the development of similar products that harmonize traditional values with modern needs.]]>
