Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) in Pasar Baru Village, South Kaur Subdistrict, Kaur Regency, carried out an eco print activity on totebags to develop children's creativity while introducing the use of reusable items. This study aims to describe how eco print activities on totebags can enhance children's creativity, as well as to describe children's enthusiasm and skills after participating in the activity. The method used was descriptive qualitative, with data collected through observation, documentation, and simple interviews with the participating children, then analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the eco print activity on totebags was able to enhance children's creativity through the exploration of natural materials, independent decision-making in arranging motifs, and precision in the pounding printing technique, so that each child produced a distinctive and personal motif. The children also showed high enthusiasm from the material-collection stage to the printing stage, accompanied by improved fine motor and artistic skills, as well as positive effects on self-confidence and cooperation. The activity is concluded to be effective as a medium for developing children's creativity and simple environmental education through the use of totebags as an alternative to single-use plastic bags.
