Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of the Sambang Santri mobile application and its effect on service quality management at Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach involving 50 respondents consisting of students’ guardians and service administrators. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires, then analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression. The results indicate that the Sambang Santri mobile application achieved a feasibility level of 81.1%, categorized as highly feasible. The use of the mobile application had a positive and significant effect on service quality management, with a contribution effect of 51.7% (R² = 0.517) and a regression coefficient of 0.762. The application contributed to improvements in service accessibility, processing speed, efficiency, and user satisfaction. This study demonstrates that mobile-based service digitalization can support more effective and adaptive service quality improvement in Islamic boarding school environments.
