Abstract

This research is motivated by the low interest of students in using Bank Syariah Indonesia services despite the continued growth of the Islamic banking industry. The study aims to analyze the influence of Islamic Financial Literacy, Social Influence, and Bank Reputation on students' interest in saving at Bank Syariah Indonesia. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The study population was 573 active undergraduate students of the Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Sultan Agung Islamic University, with a sample of 85 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique based on the Slovin formula. Primary data were collected through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares with SmartPLS. The results showed that Islamic Financial Literacy and Bank Reputation had a positive and significant effect on interest in saving, while Social Influence had no significant effect. Bank reputation was the variable that had the greatest influence on students' interest in saving. This study concluded that improving Islamic financial literacy and strengthening the reputation of Bank Syariah Indonesia are the main strategies in increasing students' interest in saving at Islamic banks.
